IHPI Level 1: Bodyweight Movement Specialist Certification

A hands-on, 2-day certification designed to help coaches master human movement, assessment, and real-world application.

The IHPI Level 1 Certification teaches you how to coach foundational movement patterns with clarity, confidence, and precision. Across 14 contact hours, you’ll learn the biomechanics behind efficient movement, how to assess and correct common faults, and how to progress clients through 25 essential bodyweight skills — from squatting and lunging to crawling, bracing, pressing, and pulling.

What makes this certification unique is the Applied Coaching Lab. On Day Two, participants coach real clients, not just other attendees. You’ll apply everything you’ve learned in live scenarios, gaining the practical experience most certifications leave out.

Whether you're a coach, trainer, therapist, or movement enthusiast, IHPI Level 1 gives you the tools to help everyday people move exceptionally well — safely, confidently, and sustainably.

Move better. Coach better. Build better humans.
Enrollment opens Spring 2026.

IHPI Level 2: Functional Strength & Lifting Specialist

Coming Winter 2026 — Currently in Development

The IHPI Level 2 Certification is the natural progression from our Bodyweight Movement Specialist course. Built on the same principles of movement quality, coaching clarity, and real-world application, Level 2 introduces the fundamentals of functional strength and lifting through a safe, scalable, systemized approach.

This upcoming certification will teach coaches how to:

  • Build strength through foundational lifting patterns

  • Teach and refine hinge, squat, press, and loaded carry mechanics

  • Utilize kettlebells, dumbbells, sandbags, and simple external loads

  • Coach correct bracing, breathing, and force production

  • Identify and correct common lifting faults

  • Adjust loading and variations for all fitness levels

  • Integrate strength development into group and 1:1 settings

  • Use lifting progressions built directly on Level 1 principles

Like Level 1, the program will include an Applied Coaching Lab, where participants will coach real clients through lifting progressions under instructor supervision.

IHPI Level 2 is being designed to meet the continuing education standards of major organizations, with CEU submission planned upon completion.

More details will be released Summer 2026.
